Fall Food Drive Success

Council News

Thank you to all who volunteered this past Saturday for our Fall Food Drive at Stop & Shop in Kinnelon.  A special thank you to Monty Dellapi, DGK for organizing the event.  We were also proud to have Brother Ed Lane's son Allen and his grandchildren, Connor and Alex, helping us out.  The event was a great success, but the numbers speak for themselves:

2,700 lbs of food collected

$589 in cash donations

Both amounts set new records for food and cash collected.  All proceeds are given to the St. Joseph Cares Food Pantry which serves needy families in West Milford Township and is committed to the mission that no one in our community should go hungry.

Once again, thank you to everyone who participated either through volunteering or donating to this worthy cause.
