The Knights of Columbus will once again be gathering at West Milford Town Hall on Christmas Eve to demonstrate the true meaning of Christmas. Brothers from the Fr. Francis Koch and Our Lady Queen of Peace Councils will be standing with the crèche in compliance with town directives. Past years have seen a great outpouring of faith, spirit and community from passers-by. Brothers, please take some time out of your busy day to stand together in fraternity and unity as we keep Christ in Christmas this year.

Thank you to all who volunteered this past Saturday for our Fall Food Drive at Stop & Shop in Kinnelon. A special thank you to Monty Dellapi, DGK for organizing the event. We were also proud to have Brother Ed Lane's son Allen and his grandchildren, Connor and Alex, helping us out. The event was a great success, but the numbers speak for themselves:
2,700 lbs of food collected
$589 in cash donations
Both amounts set new records for food and cash collected. All proceeds are given to the St. Joseph Cares Food Pantry which serves needy families in West Milford Township and is committed to the mission that no one in our community should go hungry.
Once again, thank you to everyone who participated either through volunteering or donating to this worthy cause.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Brother Ed Lane, PGK. Ed has been a member of the Council for over 35 years and Financial Secretary for the last 30. All of the many contributions Ed has made to the Council during this time are too long to list, but it can simply be said, “whenever anybody needed help or whenever something needed to get done, Ed was there.”
