DESCRIPTION:The fall “Faith in Action” will be on Nov 4th. It is a bit different from the spring FIA. \nAll the volunteers will meet at the Echo Lake Baptist Church on SATURDAY 11/4 at 9:00 AM. There will be a prayer service and breakfast will be served. The teams will leave for their assigned projects from the church. Once you have completed your project\, you go home. Virtually all the projects will be yard cleanups. \nThere will also be people assigned to “Prayer Teams” Their assignments will be to meet with the home owners for conversation and prayers. Remember\, we are doing for people who cannot do for themselves\, so prayer and a little conversation can be very important. Volunteering for a prayer team is an excellent way to be involved for those who cannot do the physical cleanups. Either way\, this is a great opportunity to live the Christian faith. \nThere are optional “hoodies” available. These are quality orange pullover sweatshirts with a hood and the “Faith in Action” logo printed on the back. Small to extra large are $22.00 and XXL is $24.00. If you want the sweatshirt\, please place your order right away. Either E-Mail me at lhwhite@optonline.net or contact the office. You can pay when the shirts come in.
